It does sit level.

This is another one of my canabalized pieces.

The base is an unused solid wood plack with feet attached and the vintage porcelain swan planter has been secured to the inscription plates.
It's filled with wax so the little roses can be removed and replace with something more suited to your needs.

I used a vintage fiberglass shade that has two prongs at the bottom set into the wood.

Socket is new.
