On the small side for a tam but it makes it easy to pull it down to double as a cloche.

I suspect the thick chenille is viscose, I've lost the yarn wrapper.

It is topped with a vintage button that is in the shape of a rose. It doesn't stand out as much as the picture makes it appear to because the light high lights on the hat do not show. It actually blends very nicely with this material.

It measures 10" across when laid flat, the edge is 20" around. I'd say this was a size small.
